ABOUT The brass quintet Italian Wonderbrass was founded in 2006 by five young Italian-raised musicians, now active in some of Europe’s finest orchestras, with the intention of giving their audiences a dynamic, versatile and internationally competitive chamber music group. Ever since their foundation, Italian Wonderbrass have been enjoying wide consense and

earning great success, playing not only within Italy, but especially abroad. To be mentioned, a highly acclaimed trip to Canada (Banff Centre for the Arts) as well as the participation at important Italian and German festivals, such as the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Festival Mitte Europa, the Festival Internazionale di Ottoni di Bangnolo Mella, the Primiero Dolomiti Festival, the Settimane Musicali Bresciane and the Festival delle Vacanze musicali di Sappada. They were the only Italian group to be invited to the prestigious International Trumpet Guild Conference in 2008, where they gave two performances, getting superb feedback from both the audience and the press, and being hailed as “the World’s best young brass quintet”.
